Hess Corporation received one of the highest rankings among energy producers in the 2016 Newsweek Green Rankings U.S. 500 – one of the world’s most recognized assessments of corporate environmental performance.

Hess is featured in this month's World Oil magazine for a new patent-pending sucker rod coupling that could save Hess and other operators millions of dollars per year. The invention was developed by Hess and Materion and is expected to reduce annual per well workover costs by $75,000-$100,000.

Hess Corporation announced positive results from the Liza-2 exploration well in the Stabroek block offshore Guyana. The results confirm a world-class oil discovery with estimated recoverable resource for the Liza prospect of between 800 million and 1.4 billion barrels of oil equivalent.

Hess Corporation will hold a conference call on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time to discuss its second quarter 2016 earnings release.

Multi-well pads are increasing drilling capabilities and acreage efficiency – and Hess is leading the way. Hess has the Bakken’s largest multi-well pad, with 18 wells on a single location. Hess Corporation released its 2015 Corporate Sustainability Report, providing a comprehensive look at the company’s strategy and performance on safety, environmental, social and governance programs and initiatives.

Hess is on the cover of the May 2016 issue of Offshore Magazine. The publication used a photo of the Ocean BlackLion drillship at Stampede in the Gulf of Mexico.

“We remain confident in our ability to manage through the current environment and deliver strong production and cash flow growth as oil prices recover,” Chief Executive Officer John Hess said.
