CNBC's Brian Sullivan sits down with Hess CEO John Hess at the energy summit CERAWeek by IHS Markit to discuss the state of the oil and gas industry.

"The challenge facing the oil and gas industry is investment," Hess said. "And we're simply not investing enough in oil and gas to grow supply to keep up with demand and offset production declines."
